Armen Sarvazyan was an artist, scientist, engineer, and inventor. Over the course of his career, he authored more than 100 patents and 200 publications, receiving numerous awards for his scientific research. His quest to understand Nature inspired him to capture its beauty across a wide variety of media—including wood, concrete, graphics, outdoor installations, photography, and mixed media.
Brief Biography. Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Armen Sarvazyan graduated from the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University and went on to work at the Pushchino Research Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Throughout his scientific career, Sarvazyan remained deeply involved in the arts; he founded and served as the first president of "Koryaga," the Pushchino Arts and Crafts Center. Following his move to the United States in the early 1990s, he founded ARTANN Laboratories in New Jersey, where he served as Chief Scientist. Sarvazyan's artwork has been featured in numerous galleries and is currently housed as a private collection at the Temple of Arts in Lambertville, New Jersey.
